Hello, I’m Laura

I am a Wellington based creative with a passion for animation, illustration, and visual storytelling. Whether it's creating motion graphics in After Effects or crafting designs in Illustrator and Photoshop, I love bringing ideas to life.

With a Bachelor’s Degree and Graduate Diploma in Applied Arts, I got my start at Psychoactive Studios, where a 3-month internship turned into a permanent design role. Since then, I’ve built a diverse portfolio spanning packaging design, marketing campaigns, animation, and social media content.

Currently, I’m the Design & Social Media Manager at Tailgunner, a digital marketing agency in Lower Hutt. I’ve led projects like an interactive, illustrated career roadmap for Civil Contractors NZ and manage social content for a range of clients.
